2. WHAT DATA WE PROCESS
ACHAZ CONSULTING currently has no data collection form on its website (no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no member area). If you contact us by email or phone, the information you provide (name, contact details, message content) is used solely to respond to your request, as part of our direct correspondence, outside of any website form.
Even without a form, simply browsing the site generates technical data:
- Connection data and server logs: your IP address and technical information (browser, operating system, pages viewed, timestamps) are automatically collected by our hosting provider for the operation and security of the site.
- Cookies and trackers: see section 3.
3. COOKIES AND TRACKERS
On your first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. The exact, up-to-date list of cookies used is available at any time through this banner (cookie management icon, usually available at the bottom of the page).
Cookies used on this site fall into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies: required for the technical operation of the site (for example, remembering your consent choice). These do not require your consent.
- Audience measurement and technical monitoring cookies (provided by our hosting provider Wix, and by our error-monitoring tool Sentry): these help us understand site usage and detect technical issues. They are only set after you give your consent.
You can withdraw your consent or change your preferences at any time via the cookie management banner, or by configuring your browser to reject cookies (which may limit some site features).
These cookies are stored for a maximum of 13 months, in line with French data protection authority (CNIL) recommendations, after which your consent will be requested again.
4. WHY WE PROCESS THIS DATA (PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES)
- Technical operation and security of the site (server logs, essential cookies): legal basis = legitimate interest (GDPR article 6.1.f)
- Audience measurement and technical error monitoring (non-essential cookies): legal basis = consent (GDPR article 6.1.a)
- Responding to requests sent by email or phone: legal basis = pre-contractual steps / legitimate interest
5. WHO RECEIVES THIS DATA (RECIPIENTS AND PROCESSORS)
The technical data mentioned above is processed by the following service providers, acting as data processors:
- Wix.com (hosting of the website and its technical infrastructure)
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) (detection and monitoring of technical errors on the site)
- Usercentrics (management of your cookie consent)
These providers are located outside the European Union (Wix, Sentry) or within the European Union (Usercentrics). Where data is transferred outside the EU, this is governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard, put in place directly by these providers as part of their own GDPR compliance framework. We invite you to consult their respective privacy policies for further details.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
6. DATA RETENTION
- Server logs: kept for the period defined by our hosting provider for security purposes, generally a few months.
- Cookies: 13 months maximum (see section 3).
- Email correspondence: kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then archived or deleted depending on the nature of the exchange.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
Under the GDPR and French data protection law, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Right of access
- Right of rectification
- Right of erasure
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object
- Right to data portability (where applicable)
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time (without retroactive effect)
To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@achazconsulting.com. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) — www.cnil.fr — if you believe your rights are not being respected.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This policy may be updated, in particular if the website evolves (e.g. addition of a contact form or newsletter) or if regulations change. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
